Directions From Kirklevington Village Hall.

Leave the Village hall car park by turning Right along Pump Lane, travel along pump lane until you get to the main road (A167). Turn Right here until you cross the Dual Carriageway (A19), immediately after the bridge turn Right into Crathorne.
Pass through Crathorne (Crathorne Arms pub on right hand side), and take the left turning, opposite the post office, towards Hutton Rudby and Stokesley.
Follow this road into Hutton Rudby and then to Stokesley. Travel along Stokesley High Street until you get to a roundabout, Safeway is in front of you, a petrol station / car garage to the right. Turn Right and cross a small bridge, then take the first Right towards Kirkby, passing Stokesley School on your left.
At Kirkby, cross over the cross roads, heading straight towards the moors (Black Swan pub on Right). Continue along this lane until you get to a green gate at the end, with a sign 'Stockton, Thornaby and District Scouts, Pybus Training Ground'. Note that the road from kirkby is a narrow road with passing places. There has been an accident on this road involving one of the leaders, so be aware that it is narrow and be cautious driving along it
Go through the gate and turn right, through the yellow gate (which should be Open when you arrive), and up along the narrow track. This track is narrow with no passing places, and a ditch on either side. Park in the parking area at the top of the hill. You are now at Pybus. Cars have been reversing down this track and driven into the ditch on either side, just mentioning this so you are aware and to be cautious driving up and down the hill. Scouts and Cubs may also be running about - another reason to be careful here.

Please don't drive past the parking area, unless one of the leaders asks you to.

Camping Areas

When you get to Pybus, we could be in the following places:
The House. This is the white building opposite you as you reach the car park,
The Teasdale Building. This is the green painted building you passed on your left as you drove up the hill,
Camping. The camping area is to the right of the car park, as you drove into it. If we are camping it should be obvious where we are.
We might even be loitering in the car park.
