The Scout Promise And Scout Law

A Scout ...
Makes good use of his time and is careful of possessions and property

By making good use of our time we often find that there is more time to do things we want to do, and to be useful in our communities.
Scouts are careful of possessions, if we take care of things we find that they last longer and we get more enjoyment from them

SP Note: An example of good use of time - at the beginning and end of a Scout meeting you could chat for 10 minutes, making 20 minutes wasted time - enough for another game!
If we take care of property, it won't get damaged, we won't need to replace it, we can spend the money we don't need to spend on something else.

Before you critisise someone, walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, you'll be a mile away and wearing their shoes too.
