How to get involved

There are loads of way to be involved in Scouting, the most obvious to most people is though the weekly meetings however there are many other ways.

Weekly meetings
These are the way young people get involved with Scouting, learn new skills, and generally have fun. The sections cater for young people from 6 to 18 years old - after that you sort of go and start being involved with leading groups - which is great fun too.

If you want to be involved in our group or another in the area then here are the contact details:

You can also become involved as an adult, and this might be from the obvious leading a section meeting, to assisting with running the Scout Group. Behind every Scout Group there is a successful group of adult administrators - a chairperson, treasurer and many others who make the leaders lives so much easier. To support all of these people there is a District and county team who look after many Scout Groups, some of the roles here are as administration roles, others have an active involvement with the Young people.

Again, if any of these roles are appealing then use the links above and see where YOU can fit into Scouting in YOUR area
